Polarization, The Enemy Within:
Collaboration, The Power of Us

November 9 - 12, 2006
Marriott Crystal City at Reagan National Airport

1999 Jefferson Davis Highway
Arlington, VA 22202

The harsh rhetoric of much of the current public discourse on issues such as immigration, gay marriage, education policy and affirmative action, as well as the continuing rise of hate groups and hate music, are all examples of the polarization that can result when diversity and inclusion are not valued. An ever-growing body of evidence documents the compelling benefits of diversity and inclusiveness, but the ability of diverse individuals and groups to work together effectively is not an innate skill, it must be learned. Through this NMCI conference, we will provide awareness, knowledge, skills and tools that help participants discover and maximize the power of diversity.
